Watervliet is home for WVF Cleaning Services Company. Our base is at 715 24th Street, a few blocks off Broadway, so when you hire us here you are hiring neighbors. Watervliet is compact: numbered streets running up from the Hudson River, two-family houses and attached homes close together, and the Watervliet Arsenal along the river, in operation since 1813. That density shapes how homes get dirty. Road grit from Route 32 and the bridges finds its way inside, small entryways take the full load of winter boots, and shared stairways in two-family homes need attention too. Walace Fernandes and his team clean houses, apartments, offices and commercial spaces all over town, from the blocks near 19th Street to the streets around Hudson Shores Park. If you live or run a business in Watervliet, you are about as close to our door as it gets. Text us at (518) 720-2726.
Much of Watervliet is made of two-family houses and attached homes on narrow lots, many with an upstairs and downstairs unit and a shared front stair. Owners who live in one unit and rent the other often want both kept in good shape, and tenants who share a hallway appreciate a clean common area. These homes tend to have smaller kitchens and bathrooms that get heavy daily use, so grease on cabinet fronts, buildup around faucets and soap film on tub surrounds come back quickly. Our standard cleaning handles that routine work, while a deep cleaning goes after baseboards, door frames, the spots behind small appliances and the grout in older tile. Entryways are a big deal here: winter in the Capital Region brings salt and slush right through the door, and we pay attention to mats, floors and the bottom edges of walls where salt spray dries white.
Watervliet has a working main street feel, with restaurants, bars, small shops and offices along Broadway and the cross streets. Those businesses need cleaning that fits around their hours. Our commercial cleaning covers dining rooms, bar areas, commercial kitchens and restrooms, the same kind of spaces you see in our job photos, and our office cleaning keeps small professional spaces ready for customers. For homeowners, a lot of Watervliet houses are being updated room by room: new floors, a refreshed bathroom, a kitchen redo. Post-construction cleaning clears the fine dust that settles on trim, inside cabinets and in vents after the contractor leaves, so you can actually use the room. Many residents here also commute to Albany, Troy or the Arsenal on long shifts, and recurring house cleaning gives them back their evenings and weekends.
Hiring a cleaner who is based in your own city has practical benefits. We are not driving in from another county, and Watervliet streets are the ones we know best. WVF is owner-led: Walace Fernandes runs the company and stays involved in the work, so you know who is responsible for your home or business. Contact works by text, which keeps things simple and gives you a written record. Send a message to (518) 720-2726 with your street, the kind of space, the number of rooms or approximate square footage, and the service you want, whether standard cleaning, deep cleaning, office or commercial cleaning, or post-construction cleanup. Photos help us understand the job. We answer by text with a clear quote and pick a date together. If something about the visit needs adjusting, you text us and we handle it.
